Pull the muffler and take a look see at the piston and cylinder for damage or just a stuck ring. You be surprise how many stuck rings I free over the years on trimmers and chainsaws. Theres a thread on here that Lakeside53 did on modding the 361 muffler. See if you can find it. It's an easy mod and works pretty good.
